Delete your account

You can permanently delete your WhereU account and all associated data at any time. This self-serve mechanism satisfies Article 17 GDPR (Right to Erasure), Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v), and Google Play Data Safety requirements.

What gets permanently deleted

Your user profile, username, display name, avatar photo, and bio
All uploaded photos, event banners, and cloud media attachments
Your live location, trajectory logs, dwell stops, and visited places history
Your friendships, squads, in-app chats, reactions, and ping history
Your venue check-ins, mayorship rankings, and claimed Flash Perks
Your AI persona badges, flair assignments, and MCP API authorization tokens
Your push notification device tokens (APNs / FCM) and preferences
Your security credentials, sessions, and authentication record

Account deactivation is immediate. Personal records and media are expunged from primary storage immediately and completely wiped within 30 days. Anonymized fiscal invoices and ticket payment logs are retained strictly where required by Romanian and EU accounting laws (Law no. 82/1991).

You need to be signed in to delete your account. If you can no longer access your account, contact us and we'll delete it for you within 30 days.
